Fix your kingdom's weaponry before the war begins.
The king commanded that all the kingdom's weaponry be ready by the end of the day, and each soldier has a good sword to fight and protect the kingdom.
Blacksmith Challenge was a game developed during a Game Jam in 2020, the game jam’s theme was “Repair”. The game design is quite simple, you have to straighten the swords using the hammer and anvil. We stay with the idea of heating the metal to make it more likely to bend. To produce the bend effect, we add bones to the sword and we work with their rotations. The player needs to put the sword into the coal to heat, as the metal gets cold, the efficiency of hammering is reduced. This was a fun project that we developed in 48 hours.
